CTIA Hit by Down Economy,Still a Networking Gem for LBS Companies

The CTIA Wireless 2009 conference attendance,like many conferences so far this year,was way down.
Some published reports quoted show officials as saying attendance was only down 10-15 percent from last year?s
40,000 attendees. However,when you offer a happy hour with free beer/wine/food in the South Hall of the Las Vegas
Convention Center for two days straight,and very few people show up for it,you know you are in a down
