- You need location and condition per parcel or per pallet, not per vehicle.
- The journey fits the battery envelope — 10 to 180+ days depending on reporting interval.
- Cellular coverage exists along the lane, since this label reports over 4G LTE-1 / GSM.
- Temperatures stay inside the -10°C to +70°C operating range.
Consider another device when
- The asset circulates and comes back — a reusable device on unpowered assets may reduce lifecycle cost where recovery and reuse are practical for your operation.
- You need sub-six-minute sampling; this label's minimum sampling interval is six minutes.
- Conditions are harsher than this label's IP54 paper housing is rated for.
- Movement is mostly indoors — a designed BLE gateway deployment may fit better, though coverage depends on gateway placement and should be validated on site.
- You need many years of history on the device itself; onboard storage holds 10,000 messages.
